American Express is seeking a talented Analyst for Data Analytics to join their Enterprise Digital Experimentation & Analytics (EDEA) team. The role involves leveraging big data technologies to drive growth by enabling efficiencies in paid performance channels and evolving digital experiences with actionable insights and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data analytics solutions using big data programming languages such as Hive and Spark.
• Utilize Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital product improvements.
• Apply statistical techniques for experimentation, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Communicate findings to senior leaders and partners in a succinct and concise manner.

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in Hive, Spark, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in large data processing and handling.
• Understanding of data science principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence partners.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking competence.
• Basic knowledge of statistical techniques such as t-tests and chi-square tests.
