Job Description

Barclays is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their Procurement team. The role involves leveraging data visualization tools and automation techniques to drive insights and efficiencies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, and Alteryx.
• Utilize MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio, for data analysis and reporting.
• Implement automation solutions using VBA, Power Query, PowerApps, and other relevant tools.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in data visualization tools: Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, Alteryx.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Experience with automation tools: VBA, Power Query, PowerApps.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to team initiatives.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in data crunching and analysis, including automation.
• Solid understanding of Database Management Systems (DBMS).
• Experience in developing within Low Code/No Code environments.
• Strong grasp of Data Management Principles and data governance.
• Skilled in designing and managing SharePoint sites.
• Knowledgeable in procurement processes and practices.
