Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Teradata SQL and awareness of Teradata utilities.
• Experience with Hive SQL, PySpark, and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Linux Shell scripting and file transfer utilities like DTU/MFT/Daffy.
• Familiarity with data pipeline construction and maintenance.
• Understanding of data warehousing and data lake architectures.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, DevOps, and GitHub.
• Awareness of operational maturity, incident and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data architectures and pipelines for durable, complete, and consistent data transfer and processing.
• Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes adhering to required security measures.
• Develop processing and analysis algorithms suitable for intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
• Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security across systems.
