Job Description

NCR Voyix is hiring for the role of Software Engineer I – Java Backend in Hyderabad, India. The position involves developing cloud-based solutions, building and expanding services powering the API ecosystem, and solving problems for a large community of developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and expand services powering the API ecosystem.
• Implement and test RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful API development and testing.
• Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with modern frameworks for building high-throughput, resilient microservices.
• Understanding of TDD, BDD, and automated testing tools.
• Experience with Spring Framework and Spring Cloud is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, AWS, or Heroku.
