Exciting Opportunity at NielsenIQ for Machine Learning Engineer role in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Machine Learning solutions using best software engineering practices
• Implement scalable machine learning solutions/pipelines in cloud-based environments (AWS) utilizing containerized applications, distributed processing frameworks, CI/CD tools, orchestration tools, IAAC tools, and monitoring solutions
• Optimize data science and machine learning models using code optimization and high-performance computing
• Define and implement best practices in Data Science solutions with a focus on end-to-end management of the model lifecycle using MLOps practices
• Actively share Data Science knowledge within the organization and represent NielsenIQ’s Data Science expertise at conferences and workshops

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong programming skills in Python and the respective Machine Learning ecosystem
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, computability and complexity, computer architecture, software design principles, patterns, and testing strategies
• Expertise in distributed computing in the cloud, handling large datasets and distributed computations
• Knowledge of Mathematics, Statistics, and Machine Learning techniques (e.g., statistical tests, classification, predictive modeling, handling of missing data, sampling, weighting)
• Experience with agile development practices is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively in an English business environment
