Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 3 years of analytics experience in relevant roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Penchant for business and curiosity to understand how the product works.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries to manipulate and consolidate multiple data sources for dashboarding and analysis.
• Intuition for data and ability to handle big data sources.
• Strong working knowledge in Excel and visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView.
• Understanding of data-analysis languages such as R, Python, and core statistical concepts is expected; experience in building ML models is good-to-have, but not mandatory.
• Ability to clearly explain thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in written form.
• Candidates who can explain the story behind their analysis will find themselves at an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the pod strategy and define critical metrics.
• Monitor performance trends and influence interventions based on performance.
• Collaborate closely with business and product functions to understand business problems and translate them into the right analytical problem statements.
• Own the entire insight generation phase and conduct deep, thorough analysis to provide unbiased answers on identified problem statements.
• Present evidence-backed insights and decisions based on data-driven hypotheses.
• Contribute individual thoughts on improving critical metrics for the pod.
• Act as the analytics and visualization SME for the team and ensure dashboards are designed and built for easy data consumption.
