Job Description

Salesforce is hiring for the role of Data Analyst – Sales Strategy in Bangalore, India. The position involves supporting the organization's data management initiatives to drive better decision-making and provide insights on key accounts and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, organize, and enrich account data at an industry/sub-industry level, ensuring data accuracy and currency.
• Leverage external data sources to identify new accounts and prospects aligning with the company's target audience and growth objectives.
• Focus on high-priority industries to identify and prioritize top accounts through market research, account discovery, deduplication, and tiering.
• Conduct in-depth profiling of key accounts, analyzing technology stacks, financial metrics, account footprints, and competition mapping.
• Provide ad-hoc support for data-related intelligence requests, including custom reports and data insights to support Sales & Strategy Organization.
• Use data to identify "whitespace" opportunities by mapping customer lookalikes, aiding in understanding additional growth potential.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Google Sheets, Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.
• Experience with data enrichment tools or platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret large data sets and extract meaningful insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting data insights and collaborating across teams.
• High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
