Exciting Opportunity at Sasken Technologies for the role of Software Engineer – Test & Release.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate, MCA, etc.
• Experience: 0–2 years

Competencies

• Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell scripts, TCL scripts, Python, Perl, etc.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, TTCN.
• Specialization in 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, INTEROP TESTING, VSAT-SATCOM.
• Experience with tools like QXDM, QCAT, QPST, Prism, Anritsu, Keysight Test instruments.
• Familiarity with test scripting tools like RTD (for Anritsu) or equivalent.
• Understanding of network scenarios (signaling & user plane call flow), development of test plans and test cases, and execution using automation frameworks.
• Ability to collect logs and analyze/debug issues found during regression.
• Proficiency in 3GPP Radio Access Technologies (RAT) with air interface, network signaling, and Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols of UE & RAN side, also NAS layer from UE and core network.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation, and technical support in the assigned area.
• Ensure on-time delivery while adhering to quality and productivity goals.
• Adhere to guidelines and checklists for all deliverable reviews, send status reports to team lead, and follow relevant organizational processes.
• Enhance technical capabilities by attending trainings, self-study, and periodic technical assessments.
