Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
• Good knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, indexing concepts)
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting
• Basic understanding of data visualization and storytelling with data
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Write SQL queries to extract, filter, and manipulate data from various structured databases (MySQL, SQL Server, etc.)
• Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for analysis using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or Python
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
• Support ad hoc data requests and generate reports that support business goals
• Document analysis methods, data dictionaries, and reporting standards
